sensors across ADAS programs.\nDefine radar packaging, mounting concepts, installation requirements, and vehicle interfaces.\nEnsure optimal radar performance through robust mechanical integration and sensor positioning.\nCoordinate with sensor suppliers, vehicle architecture, body, bumper, exterior, and manufacturing teams.\nDrive design reviews, integration assessments, issue resolution, and engineering change activities.\nSupport prototype builds, vehicle testing, validation, and production launch activities.\nEnsure compliance with radar field-of-view, functional, durability, EMC, environmental, and crash requirements.\nManage quality, cost, weight, timing, and technical maturity targets for radar integration solutions.\nWhat should you bring along\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.\n8+ years of experience in automotive sensor integration, vehicle packaging, or ADAS hardware development.\nStrong understanding of vehicle architecture, exterior systems, and sensor packaging constraints.\nExperience working with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.\nStrong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.\nMust have technical skill\nExperience in radar sensor integration and mounting design within vehicle platforms.\nStrong knowledge of automotive vehicle packaging and integration principles.\nUnderstanding of radar field-of-view, installation angle tolerances, and sensor performance impacts.\nExperience in CATIA V5/V6, DMU validation, clash analysis, and package studies.\nKnowledge of plastic and metal bracket design, tolerance stack-up analysis, and DFMA principles.\nExperience with DVP&R, DFMEA, change management, and engineering release processes.\nUnderstanding of automotive EMC, environmental, vibration, and durability requirements.\nFamiliarity with BMW PLM systems.\nKnowledge of ASPICE and ISO 26262 development processes.\nGood to have technical skills\nExperience integrating Radar, Camera, LiDAR, and Ultrasonic sensors within ADAS architectures.\nKnowledge of bumper design, front-end modules, grille systems, and exterior trim components.\nExposure to CAE-based vibration, thermal, and structural analysis.\nExperience supporting vehicle testing, calibration, and validation activities.\nUnderstanding of sensor cleaning, de-icing, and environmental protection concepts.\nFamiliarity with Req mgmt. tools like Polarion, or MBSE
