You ensure repeatable, automated and CI-ready software testing and provide objective quality evidence for release decisions in accordance with BMW processes and SP2025 requirements.\nYour Responsibilities\nEnsure requirement-based verification of E/E system functions using the Automotive Test Suite (AmTS).\nCreate, execute, and maintain automated ECU test cases and AmTS-specific test data.\nApply AmTS as a one-fits-all test framework replacing heterogeneous test tools.\nEnsure standardized test specifications and uniform, analyzable test reports.\nAct as a quality gate by identifying defects, assessing risks, and supporting release readiness.\nTasks and Key Activities\nSet up and configure the AmTS test environment including ECU-TEST, drivers, interfaces and power supply control.\nExecute automated ECU tests via CAN FD, FlexRay and Ethernet interfaces.\nWork with ECU-specific AmTS test data bundles (flash files, coding data, certificates, tokens, ODX, message catalogs).\nIntegrate AmTS test execution into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.\nAnalyze test results, review deviations and document outcomes in standardized test reports.\nDeliver test results and AmTS reports via defined BMW delivery channels and support defect resolution with development and integration teams.\nAuthority and Competence\nDecide on test execution order and prioritization within the AmTS framework.\nEvaluate test results and determine software maturity and release readiness.\nReject unclear, contradictory, or non-testable requirements.\nEscalate quality risks, blocking issues, and test gaps to project and quality stakeholders.\nWhat You Bring\nDegree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable discipline.\nSolid experience with Python scripting. \nExperience in embedded software testing and automated ECU validation.\nSolid understanding of E/E system functions, ECU architectures and test processes.\nExperience with test automation tools and structured test methods.\nStrong analytical mindset, quality orientation and clear technical communication skills.\nDesirable\nExperience with Automotive Test Suite (AmTS) and ECU-TEST.\nKnowledge of CI/CD-based test execution and continuous testing.\nFamiliarity with BAC-confirm test plans and ECU integration
