planning or targets, etc. and offering solutions/alternatives for the same.\nWhat should you bring along\nMinimum 5+ years of professional experience in automotive Design and Development and should have delivered at least 2 complete projects as / Lead Engineer / Sr. Design Engineer. \nBachelor’s or master’s degree Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.\nKnowledge of Underbody Platform architecture and concept development \nExcellent collaboration skills, proactive, teamwork-oriented mindset with the ability to operate in a multicultural environment across different time zones.\nStrong expertise in Catia V5/V6 CAD design with a focus on structured and parametric modelling for Underbody components \nKnowledge of manufacturing methods Sheet Metal components, Aluminium Extrusion profile and Castings. \nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and mentor. \nKnowledge of BMW work environments is advantageous (PRISMA, NextOne, PQM, IRAM, Release process) \nGood communication and English language skills (German language is an advantage)\nMust have technical skill\nVery good skills in CATIA V5, especially in Generative Shape Design, Part Design, Drafting, and Digital Mock-up\nFamiliarity with different manufacturing technologies for Sheet Metal, Casting, extrusion & Plastic components\nUnderstanding of Part fixation and assembly processes / Joining technologies\nGood to have Technical / Soft skills\nExperience with collision checks and integration of special characteristics, General tolerances & Stack tolerances\nExperience participating in cross functional meetings and stakeholder coordination\nLean manufacturing, DFM \nProblem solving
