BMWC is an industrial construction company seeking an experienced Information Services Field Technician to join our team.\nThis role provides hands-on technology support across construction jobsites, regional offices, and remote project locations. The IS Field Technician is responsible for deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting computers, mobile devices, printers, network equipment, internet connectivity, and other jobsite technology. This position works closely with project teams, field leadership, and office personnel to ensure reliable technology services that support safe and productive project execution.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nAs an Information Services Field Technician, you will:\nProvide onsite technical support to construction jobsites, regional offices, and remote project locations.\nDeploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, tablets, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and other field technology.\nInstall and support jobsite networking and connectivity solutions, including wireless access points, cellular internet, switches, and related infrastructure.\nConfigure and support Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint.\nSupport jobsite technology such as conference room equipment, project trailers, digital displays, webcams, and mobile workstations.\nDiagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues impacting field operations.\nImage, configure, patch, deploy, recover, and redeploy company-issued devices throughout the project lifecycle.\nTrack equipment inventory and document support requests through the IT Service Management system.\nMaintain technical documentation, inventory records, support procedures, and knowledge resources.\nTrain and support employees on company technology standards, processes, and best practices.\nSupport technology upgrades, infrastructure initiatives, and special projects while proactively identifying field technology needs.\nREQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.\n2 to 5 years of experience supporting end-user devices, networks, mobile technologies, or related IT systems.\nStrong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and mobile device support.\nExperience troubleshooting wireless networks, internet connectivity, hardware, software, and peripheral devices.\nExperience with device deployment, asset management, endpoint management, and IT ticketing systems.\nAbility to independently diagnose and resolve technical issues in fast-paced and remote environments.\nStrong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nAbility to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.\nExperience supporting construction jobsites or field operations is preferred.\nCompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or similar technical certifications are preferred.\nValid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.\nAbility to travel frequently, including overnight travel, and occasionally work outside normal business hours.\nAbility to work safely in active construction environments and lift or transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.\nBENEFITS\nCompetitive Pay with Bonus\nPTO and Paid Holidays\nPaid Volunteer Time Off\n401K/Profit Sharing with company match\nMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance\nLife, AD&D and Disability benefits\nPet Insurance\nTuition Assistance\nABOUT US\nBMWC tackles the world’s toughest and most daunting industrial construction challenges.
