This position plays an important role in supporting the successful planning, scheduling, and execution of large-scale industrial construction projects.\nYou will be part of a top-performing project services team and report to an expert Project Controls Manager in the industry. In this role, you’ll work closely with project leadership, field teams, and other key stakeholders to develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, identify potential impacts, and help keep projects moving forward.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nAs a Planner/Scheduler, you will:\nLead project teams through interactive planning sessions to develop workflow plans, project schedules, and detailed labor plans.\nIntegrate planning information into the project schedule, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project requirements.\nUpdate schedule with progress, monitor key work sequences and milestones, and notify project team of deviations to the baseline schedule.\nLead planning sessions as needed to re-sequence the work and support project recovery efforts.\nPrepare and maintain craft loading plans, physical percent complete tracking, craft productivity reports, and key commodity curves.\nAnalyze resource loading and craft productivity to identify potential impacts to the project schedule.\nPerform routine site walks to support progress updates, schedule monitoring, and field coordination.\nManage the planning and scheduling interfaces between BMWC, the client, engineering, procurement, subcontractors, and owner representatives.\nMaintain expert knowledge of Primavera P6 (V 15.1 or later), including activity coding, resource loading, multiple schedules, baselines, data imports, and data exports.\nProvide scheduling and planning support for proposal development.\nGenerate and analyze cost and earned value data from an ERP system.\nSupport BMWC’s safety culture by reporting any condition or behavior that may lead to a safety incident.\nREQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma required; post-secondary education is preferred.\nAdditional coursework, training and/or certification related to project controls, planning, scheduling, or construction management are preferred.\nMinimum of 5 years of professional experience in project controls, planning, or scheduling roles.\nExperience supporting multiple project sites or distributed project teams preferred.\nPrevious experience in the construction industry highly desired.\nScheduling experience in pharmaceutical, semiconductor, petrochemical, or other mechanical process industries preferred.\nExperience with Primavera P6\nProficiency with MS Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nExcellent time management, communication, and customer service skills.\nStrong service orientation and ability to work effectively with diverse project teams.\nAbility to maintain flexibility and professionalism in a fast-paced project environment.\nDemonstrated leadership ability.\nBENEFITS\nCompetitive pay with bonus\nPTO and paid holidays\nPaid Volunteer Time Off\n401(k)/Profit Sharing with company match\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\nLife, AD&D and Disability benefits\nPet insurance\nTuition assistance\nABOUT US\nBMWC tackles the world’s toughest and most daunting industrial construction challenges.
