This position allows you to contribute to the delivery of large-scale industrial construction projects.\nYou will be part of a top-performing project services team and report to an expert Project Controls Manager in the industry. This position regularly interacts with company leaders, candidates, field staff, and third-party partners.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nAs a Planner/Scheduler, you will:\nLead project teams in interactive planning sessions to develop work-flow plans, schedules, and detailed labor plans.\nIntegrate planning information into the schedule verifying alignment with client expectations.\nUpdate schedule with progress and monitor key work sequences, including milestones, to identify then notify project team of deviations to the baseline.Lead planning sessions as required to re-sequence the work.\n\nPrepare and maintain craft loading plans, physical percent complete, craft productivity and key commodity curves.\nAnalyze resource loading and craft productivity for possible impact to the project schedule.\nPerform routine site walks as part of the progress updating and monitoring process.\nManage the planning and scheduling interfaces between our client and supporting engineering, procurement, subcontractors, and owner plans.\nMaintain expert knowledge of Primavera P6 (V 15.1 or later) to deal with activity coding, resource loading and handling multiple schedules, baselines, and data import and exports.\nProvide expert support for proposal development\nProduce cost and earned value information from an ERP system\nSupport safety culture of BMWC by reporting any condition or behavior that may lead to a safety incident\nREQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma required; post-secondary education is preferred\nAdditional coursework, training and/or certification are also preferred\nMinimum of 5 years of professional experience in project control roles\nProfessional experience with multi-site employers and remote workforce management\nPrevious work experience in the construction industry is highly desired\nIndustry experience with scheduling in: Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, Petrochemical, or other mechanical process industries\nPrimavera P6 experience\nProficiency with MS Office Suite\nStrong knowledge of Excel\nAttention to detail and multitasking skills\nStrong service orientation\nAbility to work with a diverse team\nExcellent time management and customer service skills\nMaintain flexibility and professionalism\nLeadership ability\nBENEFITS\nCompetitive Pay with Bonus\nPTO and Paid Holidays\nPaid Volunteer Time Off\n401K/Profit Sharing with company match\nMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance\nLife, AD&D and Disability benefits\nPet Insurance\nTuition Assistance\nABOUT US\nBMWC tackles the world’s toughest and most daunting industrial construction challenges.
