BMWC is an industrial construction company seeking a Project Controls Engineer to join the team.\nThis role supports the Director of Project Services in operating, maintaining, and monitoring project controls in use at BMWC. Will report non-compliance with stated project controls policy to management for review and correction. Consults with project teams to design, develop and maintain project control functions, cost, productivity & scheduling for specific projects. Manages administrative functions for project controls software currently in use.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nAs a Project Controls Engineer, you will:\nLead project teams in interactive planning sessions to develop workflow plans, schedules and detailed labor plans\nDevelop Work Breakdown Structures that work for both the BMWC and the customer\nTechnically advise project team members on how to prepare data for upload to Primavera P6 scheduling system or Microsoft Projects\nIntegrate planning information into the schedule to ensure alignment with interactive planning sessions\nSupport daily/weekly planning and Planned Percent Complete efforts\nMaintains expert knowledge of Primavera P6 able to deal with master table setup, resource loading and handling multiple schedules, baselines and data import and exports\nDevelop proposal schedules in P6 when required\nProduce and maintain working schedules for a project team assignment\nMeet with customers to explain how schedule, labor plan and the cost system are integrated in our systems\nDevelops resource loading on project schedules to facilitate resource histogram and cumulative scurves data for metrics data\nProduce cost and hour information out of COINS\nKnow basic posting schedules in COINS and how they affect cost and hours reports\nAssist project management with monthly cost forecasts\nSupport the safety culture of BMWC by reporting any condition or behavior that may lead to a safety incident\nWhen holding meetings, be proactive in providing opportunities to provide a safety learning opportunity by highlighting a recent event or proactively discussing current activities in the field\nREQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS \nMinimum of 2 years of professional experience in project controls roles\nIndustry experience using Primavera 6\nStrong service orientation, professionalism, leadership ability and knowledge of project controls\nEffective time management, strong detail orientation and accuracy\nAbility to work productively with a diverse team and provide exemplary customer service\nAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a constantly changing environment - prioritization is essential\nComputer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products - Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI, SharePoint.; technical aptitude to learn internal systems and required packages\nTechnical skills to include knowledge of multiple planning and scheduling systems and knowledge of Excel\nPrevious work experience in the construction industry\nBENEFITS\nCompetitive Pay with Bonus\nPTO and paid holidays\n401K/Profit Sharing with company match\nMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance\nLife, AD&D and Disability benefits\nPet Insurance\nTuition Reimbursement\nPaid Volunteer Time Off\nABOUT US\nBMWC tackles the world’s toughest and most daunting industrial construction challenges.
