This position regularly interacts with company leaders, candidates, field staff, and third-party partners.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nAs a Project Safety Manager, you will:\nProvide safety leadership, coaching, and support to project managers and field teams.\nEnsure strict adherence to safety policies, regulations, and client requirements.\nTrain location management and workers in safety practices and accident prevention.\nMaintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.\nMinimize company exposure to incidents, accidents, and workers' compensation claims.\nPrioritize effective time management and communication.\nServe as a liaison between the company, clients, and regulatory authorities.\nDeliver presentations and reports to clients.\nAdminister and uphold HSE regulations and local drug testing requirements.\nImplement corporate and local safety programs and procedures.\nParticipate in safety observations, audits, and committees.\nMentor local safety specialists and manage training programs.\nMaintain records and facilitate incident investigations.\nAnalyze safety trends and identify areas for improvement.\nConduct regular reviews of safety programs and participate in client-led safety meetings.\nManage the industrial hygiene program and conduct necessary evaluations.\nAssume the role of Project Safety Specialist (PSS) when appropriate.\nReport safety statistics and information at client meetings.\nREQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Employee Health and Safety, or equivalent, required.\nMinimum of 7 years of progressive, professional experience in employee health and safety within a constructor or heavy industrial environment.\nKnowledge of OSHA 500, OSHA 300, OSHA 10 and NCCER, 29 CFR 1910 and 29 CFR 1926.\nUnderstanding of area insurance programs.\nDemonstrated commitment to additional professional growth - additional coursework, training and/or certification are also preferred.\nBENEFITS\nCompetitive Pay with Bonus\nPTO and Paid Holidays\nPaid Volunteer Time Off\n401K/Profit Sharing with company match\nMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance\nLife, AD&D and Disability benefits\nPet Insurance\nTuition Assistance\nABOUT US\nBMWC tackles the world’s toughest and most daunting industrial construction challenges.
