This position regularly interacts with project managers, project engineers, site supervisors, and company operations leaders.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nAs a Site Quality Inspector, you will:\nBe responsible for inspecting all site welds and ensuring compliance with governing guidelines.\nStop and report all unsafe conditions and acts.\nUnderstand the governing construction codes.\nUnderstand the inspection and test plan requirements applicable to the work scope.\nEnsure welders are qualified for the welding being performed.\nInspect the welds, assigns numbers for the weld map, create weld logs.\nPerform all aspects of Hydro-test and Turnover Package maintenance.\nUtilize punch lists to identify incomplete items and present to supervision.\nCompile all appropriate documents in the turnover package.\nREQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS\nMinimum of 2 years professional experience with piping inspection\nRequired experience with the following: B31.3 Process, High Purity & Plastic Piping \nTurnover package creation \nExperience with at least one of the following: Heat Maps, Weld Maps, Hydro Packages\nCertified Welding Inspector with AWS or similar\nKnowledge of ASME codes and applications\nHas administered weld tests, as required\nAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a constantly changing environment\nProficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel, WORD, Outlook, and technical aptitude to learn new systems\nBENEFITS\nCompetitive Pay with Bonus\nPTO and paid holidays\n401K/Profit Sharing with company match\nMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance\nLife, AD&D and Disability benefits\nPet Insurance\nTuition Reimbursement\nPaid Volunteer Time Off\nABOUT US\nBMWC tackles the world’s toughest and most daunting industrial construction challenges.
