We’re seeking a trustworthy, dedicated and experienced accounting professional to fill the roles of an Accounting Supervisor for our group of companies.This role is responsible for the full cycle accounting of our businesses, shares in some office administration/management responsibilities, and actively participates in the interaction and management of our valued clients and vendors.This position reports directly to the COO. This hybrid position requires some on-site presence at our Texas office.\nResponsibilities\nThis position will be part of the executive leadership team and will be involved in setting pricing and developing bundled offerings.\nProvide full cycle accounting for all corporate entities\nManage and maintain general ledger\nManage A/R, managing client invoices and managing the collections process\nSupervise workload and performance of bookkeeping assistant\nAct as a strategic thought partner with the CEO and sales team to identify diversified revenue models to enhance organizational sustainability\nManage accounts payable and liaise with CO staff to ensure timely payments\nManage all aspects of payroll, including preparing payrolls, managing our outsourced payroll provider, and handling all tax and reporting requirements\nManage 401k program and provider\nManage all aspects of sales tax, from setup to collection to filings\nProvide financial oversight of our procurement operation\nReconcile bank and credit card statements on a monthly basis\nClose the books and present financial statements to executives monthly\nFile final financial statements as necessary\nWork closely with tax consultant and owner for proper tax planning and preparation\nShare in management of benefits and insurance administration\nOversee the management and administration of our building entities\nOther duties as required\nQualifications\nMinimum 7 years of experience in Finance, including full-service bookkeeper, all aspects of payroll management for small or mid-size businesses\nBachelor’s in Finance, Business or another related field\nExpert hands-on knowledge of QuickBooks\nIn-depth knowledge of sales tax rules and filing requirements, and expert knowledge of sales tax module in QuickBooks\nExpert knowledge of Excel and other MS Office programs\nCollaborative, hard-working and exceptionally detail oriented\nExcellent communication skills\nSuccess managing staff and implementing processes\nExperience in consulting services industry and/or Connectwise software a plus\nBenefits\nCompetitive salary commensurate with experience\nComprehensive health & dental benefits\n401(k) plan + company matching\n15 days of paid time off per year\nBusiness-casual environment within a collaborative IT services company\nCompensation\nCompensation is commensurate with demonstrable knowledge and position-specific experience.
