It continues to evolve and transform with the market with the business continuing to invest in it.\n\nPosition Purpose\n\nThe role will report to the SDA Lead and will be primarily responsible for leading the migration and modernization of legacy Scala-based tools and workflows to Python and Oracle SQL as part of the COMPASS 2.0 and NEXT application roadmap (2026-2027). The position involves:\n\nArchitecting and developing scalable, high-performance data solutions in Python and Oracle SQL.\nRedesigning legacy systems to improve efficiency, maintainability, and alignment with business needs.\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams (MO, CC Governance, Sales) to ensure data integrity and business alignment.\nMentoring mid-level developers and contributing to BAU (Business as Usual) operations while driving innovation.\n\nThe position requires working in collaborated environment and involves coordination with other locations of BNP Paribas.
