This role is located in Pune.\nIn this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: \nAs an infrastructure engineer, you will be responsible to\nSoftware Packaging & Deployment\nPackage, test, and deploy enterprise applications as per BNY standards using SCCM/and Software Center.\nCreate and maintain MSI, MST, PowerShell, and scripted installation packages.\nPerform application compatibility testing across desktop, laptop, and virtual environments.\nValidate software packages through quality assurance and peer review processes.\nSupport application upgrades, migrations, and strategic software rollouts Vulnerability & Security Remediation -Package and deploy security updates, patches, and vulnerability fixes.\nSupport rapid remediation of critical vulnerabilities within defined SLAs.\nEnsure applications comply with enterprise security and compliance standards. \nOperational & Production Support to Troubleshoot software issues.\nTo be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:\nBachelor's or higher degree in computer science/ engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required\n1-2 years of experience in Software Packaging\nBasic knowledge of Windows 10/11 Enterprise administration and troubleshooting. \nBasic understanding of application packaging, installation, testing, and deployment concepts. \nFamiliarity with MSI/MSIX application packaging and tools such as InstallShield AdminStudio. \nWorking knowledge or foundational experience with PowerShell and VBScript for application and desktop automation. \nBasic knowledge of Microsoft SCCM and software/application deployment processes. \nUnderstanding of Windows desktop architecture, file systems, registry, services, and application configurations. \nExposure to troubleshooting and diagnostic tools such as Process Monitor, Orca, InstallRite, FileMon, RegMon, VMware, and similar utilities. \nAbility to perform basic Windows OS and application troubleshooting, including installation and compatibility issues. \nBasic understanding of virtual machines and test environments for application packaging and validation. \nAbility to follow established packaging, testing, deployment, documentation, and change-management procedures. \nGood analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in desktop engineering and automation. \nAbility to work effectively within a technical team, follow guidance from senior engineers, and continuously develop technical skills.\nBNY Newsroom\nBNY LinkedIn\nHere’s a few of our recent awards:\nAmerica’s Most Innovative Companies, Fortune, 2025\nWorld’s Most Admired Companies, Fortune 2025\n“Most Just Companies”, Just Capital and CNBC, 2025\nOur Benefits and Rewards:\nBNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence and our pay-for-performance philosophy.
