Accountable for the financial and human resources of the unit, ensuring teams operate efficiently to achieve goals and objectives. Drives execution of business plans and actively contributes to shaping the functional strategy.\nIn this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:\nEstablish guidelines for determining the net asset value (NAV) across various fund sectors for each measurement cycle, promoting consistency across product areas. Manage and develop the central site budget, including employee engagement, recruitment, and branding initiatives.\nLead relationship management for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring service levels meet client needs and resolving any issues. Support sales efforts through RFP and RFI preparation and related presentations.\nProvide oversight and guidance in designing processes that ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statement disclosures. Address and resolve complex escalated issues from team members.\nDefine policies and priorities for drafting financial reports that review fund performance for a broad client base. Effectively communicate reports and complex accounting details to clients.\nRecruit, lead, motivate, and develop staff to maximize their contributions, foster professional growth, and enhance team collaboration.\nManage relationships with senior auditors and clients to ensure financial reporting aligns with expectations and accurately reflects fund performance.\nTo be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Background in Government Affairs beneficial.\n7-10 years of total work experience and at least 3-5 years in management preferred; Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred.
