This role is based in Wroclaw, Poland.\nTitle in the contract: Senior Associate, Full-Stack Engineer\nIn this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:\nParticipate in the technical design, development, and implementation of application systems\nDesign and develop well-structured, testable, and efficient code\nCreate test transactions and develop documentation describing installation and operating procedures\nUtilize standard development procedures and techniques to build programs of moderate complexity, including match/merge processing and use of internal program tables\nFollow the Software Development Life Cycle with an AI-first mindset\nAnalyze, design, and develop automated test suites and quality assurance procedures\nDevelop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to support business and technical requirements\nMaintain software functionality and currency by addressing technical debt and driving continuous improvement\nActively participate in code reviews and integrate software components into fully functional systems\nApply security, privacy, and risk management principles throughout the development lifecycle\nExecute full lifecycle software development, including troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing systems\nParticipate in deployment activities in compliance with all change management controls\nProvide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements to existing platforms\nOffer recommendations to improve performance, scalability, and reliability\nDesign and develop backend features and components\nProvide application development services and technical support in complex scenarios\nLead technical design, development, and documentation for cross-functional, multi-platform systems\nSupport deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives\nContribute to engineering excellence through collaboration, code reviews, and best-practice adoption\nTo be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience\n7+ years of software development experience with Java, Spring, and Angular, Oracle\nStrong experience building web applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Angular (16+)\nProficiency in Core Java, J2EE frameworks, Web Services, HTML/CSS, Web 2.0, and MySQL/Oracle databases\nExperience working in Agile delivery environments\nExperience with LLMs and prompt engineering is a plus\nAt BNY, our culture speaks for itself, check out the latest BNY news at:\nBNY Newsroom\nBNY LinkedIn\nHere’s a few of our recent awards:\nAmerica’s Most Innovative Companies, Fortune, 2025\nWorld’s Most Admired Companies, Fortune 2025\n“Most Just Companies”, Just Capital and CNBC, 2025\nOur Benefits and Rewards:\nBNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence and our pay-for-performance philosophy.
