This role is located in Pune.\nIn this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:\nPartner with CFO, Treasury, Regulatory Reporting, Risk, Data and Technology stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into clearly defined requirements.\nSupport requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation across Finance and Treasury initiatives.\nTranslate business and regulatory requirements into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional and data requirements, with guidance where needed.\nPerform impact analysis across business processes, data flows, systems, and downstream regulatory and management reporting.\nAnalyse financial data using SQL and other analytical tools to support requirements definition, investigation and validation.\nDocument and validate data requirements, including data elements, business rules, transformations, mappings, lineage and reconciliation requirements.\nIdentify data-quality issues and collaborate with business and technology teams on root-cause analysis and sustainable remediation.\nSupport solution design by helping confirm that proposed technology and data solutions meet business and control objectives.\nDevelop test scenarios and acceptance criteria, and support business validation and user acceptance testing (UAT) through implementation.\nMaintain traceability from business requirements through solution delivery and testing.\nIdentify dependencies, risks, assumptions and issues, and escalate or work with the appropriate stakeholders to support resolution.\nCommunicate business and data concepts clearly to business stakeholders and technical teams.\nTo be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:\nA bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Technology, Data or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.\n3-5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst within banking, financial services or another complex financial environment.\nExperience supporting change across Finance, Treasury, Regulatory Reporting, Risk or Data functions.\nPractical capability in requirements elicitation, process analysis, functional decomposition, impact assessment, gap analysis, business rules, process mapping and requirements traceability.\nHands-on SQL capability is strongly preferred, together with experience in data profiling, mapping, lineage, reconciliation and data-quality analysis.\nDemonstrated experience working within Agile delivery models, including epics, features and user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement and prioritisation, sprint planning, sprint reviews and demonstrations, and user acceptance testing and release readiness.\nExperience with Jira and Confluence.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to structure and analyse business problems.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels.\nStrong stakeholder-management skills and the confidence to ask questions and challenge assumptions constructively.\nThe ability to work effectively across business, data and technology teams.\nA high degree of ownership, attention to detail and focus on delivery outcomes.\nThe ability to manage priorities and dependencies within an Agile delivery
