Join us and be part of something extraordinary.\nWe are seeking an experienced DevOps / Application Infrastructure Backend Engineer to join our Structured Debt Client Platform team to support middleware, cloud infrastructure, container platforms, and production application workloads. This role will requires strong hands-on experience supporting business-critical Java applications in AWS and Kubernetes environments. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA\nIn this role, you'll have the opportunity to impact our organization in the following ways:\nAdminister and support middleware and application workloads, including Apache HTTP Server, NGINX, Tomcat, Java/Spring Boot, and Angular applications running on Linux and Windows servers.\nSupport AWS infrastructure, including EC2, Application Load Balancers (ALB), Network Load Balancers (NLB), VPCs, subnets, security groups, and EKS networking.\nBuild, deploy, and support containerized Java/Spring Boot and Angular applications using Docker and Kubernetes.\nCreate and maintain Dockerfiles, container images, and image repositories while applying container security and image-optimization best practices.\nDeploy applications to Kubernetes using Helm and Git-based deployment processes.\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, or comparable platforms.\nIntegrate build tools such as Maven, Ant, and npm into automated pipelines.\nImplement automated build, testing, security-scanning, and deployment processes.\nProvision and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.\nDevelop automation and operational tooling using Bash, Shell scripting, and Python.\nSupport Kubernetes environments, preferably AWS EKS, including networking, ingress, load balancing, storage, secrets, and application lifecycle management.\nMonitor application and infrastructure health using platforms such as Datadog, Splunk, and Amazon CloudWatch.\nTroubleshoot production infrastructure, middleware, networking, deployment, and performance issues affecting Java applications.\nParticipate in incident response, root-cause analysis, problem management, disaster-recovery exercises, and high-availability planning.\nProvide production support as part of a 24x7 on-call rotation.\nDevelop and maintain runbooks, operational procedures, architecture documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge-base articles.\nCollaborate effectively with application development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.\nTo be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
