This role is located in Pittsburgh US.\nIn this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:\nThe Workplace Technology Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting endpoint and desktop management automation solutions across the enterprise. This role focuses on software automation, Group Policy management, browser configuration management, and login script administration to improve operational efficiency, security, and end-user experience.\nBuild and maintain endpoint management solutions for software installation, upgrades, and removals.\nDesign and maintain automation solutions for software deployment, patching, and configuration management.\nAdminister and optimize Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for enterprise desktop and server environments.\nManage enterprise browser configurations, policies, extensions, and compliance settings.\nDevelop, test, and maintain login scripts that map drives, configure environment settings, and support user onboarding needs.\nAnalyze incidents related to desktop policies, browser performance, and software delivery.\nUnderstanding of registry management, user profiles, and Windows logon processes.\nCollaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure solutions are reliable and scalable.\nExperience with software deployment lifecycle and operational support.\nTroubleshoot endpoint management, policy conflicts, software packaging, and deployment issues.\nPartner with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application teams to enforce standards and controls.\nDocument operational procedures, configurations, standards, and automation runbooks.\nSupport change management, release activities, and production issue resolution.\nIdentify opportunities to reduce manual effort through scripting and automation.\nTo be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.\n5+ years of experience in endpoint engineering, desktop engineering, or infrastructure automation.\nHands-on experience with scripting tools such as PowerShell, VBScript, or batch scripting.\nGroup Policy administration\nSoftware packaging and deployment tools\nBrowser policy management for Chrome, Edge, and/or Firefox\nLogin script creation and troubleshooting\nExperience with Windows enterprise environments and Active Directory.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nExperience with Intune, MECM/SCCM, or similar endpoint management platforms.\nFamiliarity with cybersecurity controls and endpoint hardening.\nExperience with enterprise-scale change and release processes.\nKnowledge of identity/access integrations and user profile
