Join us and be part of something extraordinary.\nWe’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Cloud Engineering to join our Cloud Platform Engineering team. This role is located in NY/NJ, Lake Mary, FL and Pittsburgh, PA\nIn this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:\nArchitect and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, and other Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks. \nDesign and build robust, secure, and maintainable solutions using modern programming languages such as Python or Java. \nDeep understanding and building applications using AKS, Serverless functions, Web technologies, Databases etc.\nDeep understanding of migrating complex on-prem applications to Azure, AWS, or GCP, contributing to BNY’s enterprise cloud strategy. \nParticipate in full SDLC processes - from concept and design through testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization. \nCollaborate closely with Security, IAM, and Architecture teams to ensure compliance, identity integration, and robust enterprise guardrails. \nCreate clear, user-focused documentation that strengthens operational excellence. \nStay ahead of emerging cloud trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve our engineering culture. \nTo be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:\nBachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 7-9 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. \n5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, or Software Engineer with cloud-native responsibilities. \nDeep expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or similar technologies. \nStrong programming proficiency (Python, Java, or similar). \nHands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP). The base salary for this position is expected to be between $80,000 and $165,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
