engineering.\nShape technical architecture and key decisions with the CTO and other engineering leaders\nHire and develop strong engineers as the team grows\nChampion AI-assisted engineering that is built on solid fundamentals\nWork closely with product and the wider business to deliver what our clients need\nPerson Specification\nWe are looking for an outstanding engineering leader: technically strong across a broad range, with deep expertise in at least one area, and someone engineers want to work for.\nRequired Skills and Experience\nExtensive software engineering experience, including a proven track record of leading engineering teams.\n\nHands-on technical ability, with recent experience writing production code\n\nA track record of coaching, mentoring and growing engineers\n\nBroad technical knowledge across the stack, with deep expertise in at least one area\n\nStrong system design and architecture skills\n\nClear, confident communication and the ability to influence at all levels\n\nExperience using AI coding tools, and a view on how they change the way teams work\n\nFluent written and spoken English\n\nNice to haves\nExperience in a high-growth B2B SaaS company\n\nExperience building for enterprise clients, ideally in regulated industries\n\nExperience designing career frameworks or engineering levels\n\nExperience leading remote or distributed
