This position requires strong cooking techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage assigned kitchen stations in a fast-paced dining environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nPrepare and execute menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and portion requirements.\nIndependently manage assigned cooking stations, including sauté, grill, and garde manger.\nEnsure consistency in food quality, taste, temperature, and presentation.\nOrganize and maintain mise en place to support efficient kitchen operations.\nFollow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.\nCollaborate with chefs and culinary team members to ensure timely and efficient service.\nAssist with training and mentoring less-experienced culinary team members.\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.\nRequirements\nQualifications\nPrevious professional culinary experience with strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.\nAbility to independently manage a cooking station during busy meal periods.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to culinary excellence.\nKnowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.\nFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nTwo or more years of professional culinary experience.\nPrevious experience in an upscale restaurant, fine-dining establishment, or luxury resort.\nCulinary degree or formal culinary training.\nWhy Join Boar’s Head Resort?\nAt Boar’s Head Resort, we take pride in delivering exceptional hospitality and memorable dining experiences.
