you will do:\nSupport our Design Engineering team in turning engineering and design concepts into clear, accurate, manufacturing-ready technical drawings for prefabricated products, while ensuring consistency, manufacturability, and compliance with drawing standards.\nPrepare manufacturing-ready drawings for prefab cabin components and assemblies, including fabrication, assembly, detail, and section drawings, and exploded views where required\n\nDevelop detailed drawings for structural, architectural, mechanical, and product components based on engineering and design requirements\n\nApply engineering drawing conventions, including dimensions and tolerances, geometric tolerances (where applicable), production and surface finish symbols, material specifications, drawing notes, and revision control\n\nTranslate 3D CAD models into accurate, clear, and practical 2D manufacturing drawings\n\nCoordinate with Design, Manufacturing, Process, and Production teams, and revise drawings based on engineering review, manufacturing feedback, and prototype validation\n\nMaintain drawing standards, templates, naming conventions, and document control\n\nYou will fit in this job if you:\nAre a final-year student or fresh graduate in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Product Design / Industrial Design (with strong technical drawing skills), or a related discipline\n\nCan read and interpret engineering drawings, and understand dimensions, material specifications, and component interfaces\n\nAre familiar with 2D CAD drafting and 3D CAD modelling (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar)\n\nHave a working knowledge of manufacturing processes such as steel and sheet metal fabrication, welding, CNC / machining, aluminium fabrication, and assembly\n\nHave a basic understanding of GD&T, tolerances, symbols, and manufacturing drawing conventions (highly preferred)\n\nHave strong attention to detail, and are willing and eager to learn new engineering and construction requirements\n\nAre interested in prefabricated construction, modular systems, and product engineering\n\nPlacement: Bobobox
