We believe that joy is for everyone.\n\nPosition Overview: The Demand Planning Analyst II maintains reliable demand forecasts and the systems and processes that support them. This position works closely with Sales, Category Insights, Purchasing, and Production Planning to translate business inputs into an actionable demand plan and communicates changes, assumptions, risks, and opportunities. The Demand Planning Analyst combines detailed analytical work with cross-functional partnership.\nKey Responsibilities\n Essential Job Functions:\nDevelops and maintains a 24-month demand plan for Bob’s Red Mill finished products using historical trends, POS data, indirect sales, seasonality, statistical forecasts, and business intelligence. \nCollaborates with Sales, Marketing, and Category Insights to incorporate promotions, distribution changes, customer wins and losses, market trends, and new product expectations. \nMaintains forecasting software and interface integrity with ERP system. \nMonitors forecast accuracy and bias, investigates significant variances, and identifies opportunities to improve forecast performance. \nServes as the forecasting software power user, develops deep knowledge of its capabilities and applies appropriate features to improve forecast quality and planning efficiency. \nCommunicates significant forecast changes to supply planning to ensure proper inventory levels. \nUpdates Excel workbooks supporting forecasting and Integrated Business Planning (IBP). \nEvaluates demand planning processes and recommends improvements to strengthen KPI results, cross-functional collaboration, and operational efficiency \nComplies with all company policies and procedures and operates all equipment in a safe and food-safe manner. \nComplies with Bob’s Red Mill food safety policies and procedures including adherence to FDA regulations, Safe Quality Food (SQF) Standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). \nResponsible for reporting food safety and quality concerns to Supervisors and/or Department Manager. \nPerforms other duties and tasks as assigned. \nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nNone. \nThis position reports to the Integrated Business Planning Manager. \nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nStrong Excel skills and experience using forecasting software, ERP systems, or similar business applications. \nSkilled in analyzing and interpreting data to provide actionable insights. \nPossesses effective communication skills, both verbal and written. \nStrong attention to detail and organization skills \nAbility to work effectively with a team using direct communication, respect, creativity, and emotional intelligence. \nCapable of tailoring communication style and content to reflect the audience and provide clear, concise information. \nPossesses a continuous improvement mindset. \nAbility to work independently and in collaboration with others. \nAbility to read, understand, and communicate information in English. \nDemonstrates Respect, Teamwork, Accountability, and Determination. \nEducation and Experience:\n2 or more years of demand planning or related experience, AND \nBachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field;
