You will lead a multidisciplinary organization of more than 40 engineers and specialists and play a key role in defining the future of BOBST's digital solutions.\nYour Mission\nAs a member of the IoT Leadership Team, you will drive the technology strategy, architecture and delivery of the BOBST Connect platform while partnering closely with the Iot Product Director to bring innovative solutions to market. You will lead teams based in Switzerland and Morocco and report directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO).Key responsibilities\nLead and inspire\nLead, develop and grow multidisciplinary IoT, Data Science and Operations teams (+40 people). \nFoster a culture of agility, collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.\nCoach leaders and technical experts, ensuring the organization is equipped to deliver on its ambitions.\nDrive technology excellence\nOwn the technology roadmap and execution of the BOBST Connect platform together with the Iot Product Director.\nDefine architecture, technology stack, cybersecurity and cloud strategies that ensure scalability, reliability and performance. \nPromote modern engineering practices including Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD and AI-enabled development approaches. \nCreate business impact\nPartner with Product Lines, Business Units and commercial teams to maximize customer value. \nTranslate business needs into innovative digital solutions and services.\nPresent strategic updates and recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.\nWhat You Bring\nExperience\nMaster's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related field.\nMore than 10 years of experience in software and digital product environments.\nAt least 5 years leading large, distributed software development organizations, including nearshore or offshore teams.\nTechnical expertise\nYou bring a strong background in several of the following areas:SaaS platforms and software development\nCloud-native architectures (Azure preferred)\nIoT and edge connectivity\nCybersecurity\nData platforms and data science\nAgile delivery frameworks\nDevSecOps, CI/CD and software engineering best practices\nLeadership & mindset\nInspiring leader with a proven ability to build high-performing teams.\nStrong business acumen and customer-centric mindset.\nStrategic thinker capable of influencing senior stakeholders.\nPassion for innovation, technology and creating measurable value.\nExcellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural, global environment. \nLanguages\nFluent English is mandatory and French is a strong asset.\n Join us - and grow with us.\nBOBST is an engineering company, pioneering intelligent solutions that shape the future of the packaging world.
