Bobyard has a great product and a story almost nobody in construction has heard yet. Your job is to change that - build our social presence from the ground up, be the face and voice of the brand on camera, and turn a category people think is boring into content they actually stop for. You'll set the playbook, not inherit one. You'll ideate; our video editor shoots and edits, so you can focus on ideas, hosting, and growth.\nWhat you'll do\nOwn Bobyard's social channels end-to-end - LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and X\n\nCome up with video concepts and appear on camera regularly - you're the talent\n\nWrite hooks, scripts, and captions that get contractors and builders to stop scrolling\n\nRun the day-to-day: plan the calendar, schedule and publish, and keep a consistent cadence\n\nManage the community - reply to comments and DMs and be Bobyard's voice in the wild\n\nGrow engagement and top-of-funnel numbers, and know why they moved\n\nPartner with brand and copy on ideas, and hand shoots to our video editor to produce\n\nJump on trends and cultural moments fast - with taste that fits a premium product\n\nReport on what's working, double down, and kill what isn't\n\nWhat we're looking for\n3-5 years running social for a brand (or yourself), with a portfolio and real numbers you can prove were yours\n\nGenuine comfort on camera - this is a core part of the job\n\nA track record of organic growth: you know how to move engagement and TOFU, not just post\n\nSharp instincts for short-form video - hook, retention, payoff - across TikTok, Reels, and Shorts\n\nConsistency and community chops: you keep channels alive daily and engage like a human, not a brand account\n\nStrong writing: captions and copy that sound like a person\n\nSelf-starting and operationally reliable - you take a goal and run, and you show up every day\n\nNice to have\nA point of view on B2B and LinkedIn video\n\nExperience making a technical or \"unsexy\" product interesting\n\nComfortable grabbing quick iPhone content yourself when the moment calls for it\n\nYour own channel with real traction\n\nWhat we offer\n$115K-$135K base + meaningful early-stage equity\n\nThe entire social brand of a fast-growing company to own and define\n\nA dedicated video editor so you can focus on ideas and growth\n\nA team that moves fast, takes full ownership, and keeps a healthy sense of humor\n\nOn-site in SF (101 2nd Street) - we build together, and on-camera work happens here\n\nComp Philosophy\nCash for stability.
