Come join us in our legacy and continuing to support our national defense.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nAnalyze existing designs, troubleshoot issues with current designs, and propose solutions to return units to a functional state\nMaintain detailed requirements and specifications for various electronic products\nDevelop detailed designs of limited scope\nConduct various methods of testing and analysis to support design\nGather data for technical performance measures and perform basic analysis\nProvide basic engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product\nConduct trade studies and literature research to support future product designs\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):\nBachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement\n2+ years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and technical education\nExperience utilizing lab electronic testing tools (Digital Multimeters (DMM), Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, Function Generators, etc.)\nExperience troubleshooting electrical issues\nSkill and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):\nKnowledge of various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and systems. The ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables\nAbility to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area. This includes the ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance\nBachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or computer engineering\nExperience developing and debugging low-level hardware or firmware drivers for embedded microcontrollers\nExperience designing, testing, and integrating a digital circuit card assembly (CCA)\nExperience performing circuit analysis in SPICE or similar tools such as LTSpice\nExperience using Siemens (formally Mentor Graphics)\nExperience using Electrical Design Automation (EDA) tools such as Mentor Graphics, Altium, or PSPICE to perform schematic capture, PCB design, PCB layout, and circuit simulation\nConflict of Interest:\nSuccessful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.\nRelocation:\nRelocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
