The ability to effectively coordinate with teammates, internal suppliers, and customers is also required.\nPosition Responsibilities\nAssist in developing air vehicle requirements\n\nCreate vehicle-level models for loads and dynamics analysis\n\nPerform loads and dynamics analysis to support air vehicle design (e.g. flight and ground simulations for loads, flutter/divergence analysis, noise & vibration assessments)\n\nAssist in developing flight and ground test requirements and plans\n\nSupport ground and flight testing by performing pre-test analysis, real-time monitoring of test conditions, post-processing of test data, and documentation of test results\n\nSupport airworthiness activities with regulatory agencies and internal/external customers via correspondence, presentations, and documentation\n\nAssist in developing vehicle flight envelope and operational limits\n\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):\nBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement\n\n2+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education.\n\nCourse work and/or work experience in one or more of the following technical competencies: Aerodynamics, Stability & Control, Structural Dynamics, Aeroelasticity, and/or Finite Element Modeling (FEM)\n\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):\nActive Secret level US security clearance\n\nProficiency with a higher-level programming code (e.g. C, Matlab, Python, or similar)\n\nExperience with finite element analysis (FEA), vibrations analysis, and/or multi-body dynamics (MBD)\n\nPrior experience with static or dynamic external loads analysis\n\nPrior experience with air vehicle ground and/or flight testing\n\nConflict of Interest:\nSuccessful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.\nDrug Free Workplace:\nBoeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.\nThe Boeing 401(k) helps you save for your future, with contributions from Boeing that can help you grow your retirement savings.
