Find your future with us.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nDevelop, qualify, and optimize manufacturing processes for electrical/electronic assemblies, printed circuit board (PCB) production post SMT and electronic box builds\nProduce and maintain manufacturing documentation: process flows, work instructions, assembly guides, routings, tooling specifications, and process control plans\nSupport process validations, first-article inspections, failure investigations, root-cause analyses, corrective actions, and continuous improvement efforts\nInterface with design engineering, quality, procurement, test engineering, and production teams to resolve manufacturability and producibility issues\nDefine and specify manufacturing tooling, jigs, fixtures, and test equipment; support procurement and supplier integration\nSupport production ramps, capacity planning, and troubleshooting on the shop floor to ensure schedule and quality targets are met\nImplement and sustain Lean and Six Sigma practices to improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance product quality\nEnsure compliance with Boeing manufacturing standards, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements\nMentor and train production personnel on processes, work instructions, and best practices\nThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):\nBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement\n2+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience with electrical/electronic assemblies and PCBs\nExperience with process documentation, DWG/PDF work instructions, process flow development, and production support\nExperience with soldering, component bonding, board coating, lead forming, harness assembly, and electronic box build methodologies\nDemonstrate problem-solving skills using root-cause analysis tools (5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA, etc)\nProficient with CAD/ECAD basics (CREO, SolidWorks, or similar), manufacturing data systems (MES/PLM), and Microsoft Office tools\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nExperience in aerospace or defense manufacturing environments\nFamiliarity with electronic test methodologies\nStrong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work collaboratively across functions\nFamiliarity with IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, J-STD-001), MIL-STD, and DFx/ DFMA for electronics\nCertification in Lean, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), or Manufacturing Engineering certifications\nExperience with test fixture design, automated test equipment (ATE), and environmental/EMC test support\nPrior experience with supplier development and qualification programs\nDrug Free Workplace:\nBoeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.\nPay and Benefits:\nAt Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
