These positions will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) business organization.\nThis role will be based out of Chennai, India.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nEstimate user stories/features (story point estimation) and tasks in hours with the required level of accuracy and commit them as part of Sprint Planning.\nContributes to the Backlog refinement meetings by promptly asking relevant questions to ensure requirements achieve the right level of DOR.\nWorks with the Product Owner to confirm that the code and acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality.\nRaise any impediments/risks (technical/operational/personal) they come across and approaches Scrum Master/Technical Architect/PO accordingly to arrive at a solution.\nUpdate the status and the remaining efforts for their tasks daily\nEnsures change requests are treated correctly and tracked in the system, impact analysis done and risks/timelines are appropriately communicated.\nDevelops working software towards committed Team PI Objectives and Iteration plans.\nDelivers working software in accordance with expected quality standards.\nDesigns for testability: Design and evolve the system to (Required Skills/Experience):\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.\nDemonstrated ability to create positive impact on customers by developing polished, cohesive, effective, and user-friendly applications for large and complex aviation related systems.\n2+ years of related work experience in software development using Java and spring framework preferably Spring boot.\nHands on experience in Web application framework, micro service-oriented architecture and REST APIs.\nKnowledge of SQL technology, such as Postgres, MySQL or similar.\nExperience working with version control tools such as GIT.\nKnowledge of NoSQL technologies.\nExperience with container platforms such as Docker, PCF, TAS etc.\nExposure to continuous integration practices and tools such as Jenkins/Bamboo.\nMust have experience with at least front-end framework such as Angular, React, Type Script etc.,\nExperience with UI components and ability to decompose a wire-frame into sub-elements; components re-usability and UI multi-theming.\nExperience using Software Design Patterns, Standards and Best Practices within the industry. \nHands-on experience with Build and Deployment tools and languages around CI / CD.\nAbility to rapidly learn and understand software from source code\nMust have experience working with cross-functional teams spread across multiple products and locations\nMust be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with partners from within Boeing and outside, across different cultures and time-zones\nKnowledge of integrating with Maven, GIT and Shell scripting\nExperience in understanding and interacting with multiple data formats\nExtensive experience in collaborating within an Agile team setting, working as a group to drive Epic/Feature/User Story creation as well as solution design and architecture\nShould have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to earn trust, persuade, motivate and mentor other team members.\nCandidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills and a track record of working successfully under pressure in
