The platform was initially developed for the US Navy, first flown in 2009 and introduced into service in 2013. The Aircraft is fitted with equipment to tackle a diverse range of missions, including submarine hunting, performing reconnaissance missions and supporting search & rescue operations. Our program will retrofit the highly capable Multi-mission platform for the next decade.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nThis management position is planned to be a 1st Shift Operations Manager sharing the responsibility for the installation of the ECP-6 Modification to the P-8A Poseidon as well as the preservation requirements relevant to the 737-800. Individual will manage salary and hourly technicians and support personnel performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines.\nDevelops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies, procedures, goals and objectives.\nAcquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.\nDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.\nProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.\nManages, develops and motivates salary and hourly technicians and support personnel.\nResponsible for adherence to and oversite of established processes, accurate and timely work recording and contractual/regulatory compliance.\nTo be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process.
