Through detailed analysis, this data can indicate the health of the numerous avionics and mission systems installed on the C-17. You will be an integral part of our DES team, experts who guide the Customer on getting the very best technical performance from the C-17 fleet, the primary strategic airlifter in USAF service.\nJoin a team where Engineering really matters!\nPosition Responsibilities:\nProcess and assess the integrity of ADR raw data\nAnalyze system malfunctions through the decoding of Mil-Std-1553B and/or ARINC-429 bus data\nReview post-flight data for troubleshooting and aircraft health management\nConduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for complex design non-conformances\nDeveloping algorithms to allow the data to be mined more efficiently to identify and prevent system and component failures\nProvide written dispositions / recommendations to C-17 customers (i.e. Product Notifications, Technical Requests)\nSupport Customer’s Program Management Review meetings\nSupports Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participates in design reviews\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\nBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement\n3+ years of experience in aircraft flight simulator training device maintenance, or experience in aircraft avionics / electronics or computer network and information systems\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\n (Level 4) 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience. (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)\n (Level 5) 10+ years of higher education and/or related work experience.
