Find your future with us.\nYou'll work within our established frameworks to enable the timely and effective, management, configuration, design of tooling and all other activities related to the SOC including new and emerging cyber threats.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nSupporting the Security Specialist/Security Manager/Functional Lead in the identification and ongoing monitoring of specific security risks\nContinuously identifying improvements in both tooling and processes to ensure services operated are aligned to industry best practice and Boeing enterprise best practices\nConfigure and utilise SIEM, vulnerability management and other security-based tooling.\nInnovate in the areas of SIEM and SOC and develop best practice.\nMentor and oversee development of junior analysts.\nWork to well-defined SLAs & KPIs.\nSupport incident response where required.\nThis position will require you to undergo a security clearance check.\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\n3+ years’ experience in the following areas:\nWorking in a Security Operations Centre (SOC).\nWorking with SIEMs and evaluating SIEM alerts.\nExperienced in using log aggregation and correlation tools (Splunk preferred).\nExperienced in interpreting systems, application and network device logs.\nExperienced in packet capture and analysis.\nExperienced in responding to security alerts and performing data-based investigations.\nExperienced in alert rule creation and development (SNORT, YARA, SIEM).\nExperienced in environment threat modeling.\nExperienced in identifying and handling security incidents.\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nExperience researching current threats and vulnerabilities to Information Technology systems.\nExperience of practical threat hunting experience in a high value information/high threat processing environment dealing with persistent threats.\nInformation Security qualification, Degree-level education in Information Security or related area\nCISSP Certification\nCREST - Intrusion Analyst, Cyber Threat Intelligence\nSANS GNFA, GCIA, GCIH\nComptia Security+, CySA+\nSplunk Enterprise Data Administration\nSplunk Enterprise System Administration\nRelocation:\nThis position does not offer relocation.
