Find your future with us.\nThe Boeing Defence UK Analytics team are an agile team based out of Bristol, delivering data warehouse, rapid prototyping in Tableau and the configuration and the deployment and uptake of Enterprise analytic tools. The team size is currently 18 and managed by a Data Analytics Manager and a Programme Manager.\nBusiness travel within the UK and overseas will be required, including occasional overnight stays.\nResponsibilities\nDue to the growth in the team, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Business Intelligence Analyst. This position will sit within the Applied Team and be responsible for the delivery of analytics capability to the customer. Specific responsibilities will include:\nDevelopment of Business Intelligence information models, dashboards, metrics and reports, utilizing standard technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives. \nCombining programming, SQL skills, best practices and business expertise to deliver efficient and scalable Business Intelligence solutions to improve business productivity and business outcomes.\nWorking with stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver value.\nFoster a work environment that encourages business innovation and strong customer relationship management.\nTraining and support to graduates and early careers.\nEssential Skills and Experience\nHands on experience with BI/visualisation tools (e.g Tableau) and developing and automating reporting / analytics.\nAn Interest in data and data science techniques including data science and machine learning\nAn inquisitive mindset and a desire to develop solutions to problems using innovative thinking\nAn awareness of data warehousing, ETL Solutions and data pipeline architecture\nGeneral SQL knowledge.\nExcellent communication skills including presentation skills.\nApplicants will possess an appropriate educational/certification from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.\nWork Authorisation: This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK.
