The types of testing conducted in the dynamics lab include acoustic, free play, ground vibration, modal, impact, shock, vibration, and pyrotechnic testing.\nWe are seeking candidates who are detail-oriented, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate effective problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will be able to manage tasks with accuracy and collaborate clearly and professionally with team members at all levels.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nDevelops and documents standardized test methods and processes to ensure repeatability and productivity\nLeads the development of test procedures\nApplies lessons learned to the improvement of test procedures\nDesigns calibration system/test fixtures\nDevelops data processing tools and algorithms\nGenerates calibration procedures and software\nGuides others in the design of test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements\nOversees debriefing of the test team\nLeads the analysis, processing and formatting of data to customer requirements\nApproves test data prior to delivery to customer\nFormulates expectations for test data based on historical data\nPerforms functions as required to ensure calibration system readiness and data validity\nTrains others\nWorks under minimal direction\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\nBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement\n5+ years of experience do you have working in a lab test, flight test, or similar test environment\nExperience with project management and self-managing projects\nExperience setting up equipment and performing tests on various products and assemblies using manual, semi-automatic, and/or automated test devices\nExperience creating and documenting test plans/procedures, executing tests, analyzing results, and/or creating test reports\nExperience with instrumentation and/or data acquisition systems\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nLevel 4: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nExperience with Environmental test\nHardware and software integration experience\nMaster’s degree in engineering\nConflict of Interest:\nSuccessful candidate for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.\nDrug Free Workplace:\n Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.\nPay & Benefits:\nAt Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage, and retain the top talent.
