This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.\nBDS is a global leader in the development, production, maintenance and enhancement of fixed-wing and rotary wing aircraft, commercial and government satellites, human spaceflight programs and weapons. BDS delivers the most digitally advanced, simply and efficiently produced and intelligently supported solutions to its customers.\nThe St. Louis E3 Design Integration Team is responsible for various tasks including but not limited to analysis, concept development, design implementation, and verification tasks on various Boeing Defense programs. The position requires interfacing with multiple disciplines across The Boeing Company (Engineering, Product Support, Manufacturing, etc.), external customers, suppliers, and multiple levels of the organization to manage compliance to design integration requirements.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nDevelop and validate electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) requirements for various communication, sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems, subsystems, components, interconnects and structures.\nDevelop architectures to integrate components into higher level systems and platforms.\nPerforms trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of computational electromagnetic (CEM) analysis to predict component and interconnects performance and to optimize design around established requirements.\nDefines and Conducts tests to validate performance of designs to requirements.\nSupports supplier electromagnetic testing for compliance with procedures and standards\nCollects and analyzes data on supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance to requirements.\nProvides support to products throughout their lifecycle from manufacturing to customer use by recommending engineering solutions to issues\nSupports project management by providing work statement, budget, schedule and other required inputs and by reporting project status\nWorks under general supervision and direction\nThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.\nCandidates must be willing to Travel Domestically and Internationally as needed\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience:)\nBachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement\n9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience:)\nFamiliar with EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) or E3 (Electromagnetic Environmental Effects)\nActive US Security Clearance\nB.S Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Physics\nExperience with relevant aircraft electromagnetic standards: MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, RTCA DO-160\nExperience in a role which required knowledge of MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, DO-160, IEC-61000, and/or FCC part 15\nExperience in Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the military\nExperience performing computational electromagnetic analysis (FEKO, Cosite, ANSYS, CST)\nExperience with written and verbal communication including developing and delivering presentations to key stakeholders\nExperience with MS Office tool suite\nExperience working within an engineering organization\nExperience with lightning testing and analysis\nConflict of Interest:\nSuccessful candidates for this job must satisfy Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.\nRelocation:\nThis position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.\nDrug Free Workplace:\nBoeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.\nShift:\nThis position is for 1st shift\nPay & Benefits:\nAt Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
