The wing oversees base day-to-day operations and provides support for over 10,000 military, federal civilian and contract personnel assigned to a 481-square mile installation. The 412th Test Wing plans, conducts, analyzes, and reports on all flight and ground testing of aircraft, weapons systems, software and components as well as modeling and simulation for the U.S. Air Force. There are three core components for this mission: flying operations, maintenance and engineering.\nThe Boeing Company supports multiple platforms at Edwards AFB. This posting is for the support of the 419th Flight Test Squadron, Bomber Combined Test Force (CTF), which flight tests B-1B and B-52 Bombers where Boeing works directly with our Air Force customer and our industry partners supporting its mission to improve the warfighting capabilities of the Air Force through system integration, development, test and evaluation of the B-1B Lancer and B-52 Stratofortress.\nThe site is comprised of a diverse team of BT&E employees who are extremely motivated, skilled, knowledgeable, and highly valued by our customers and business partners.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nImplement the corporate documentation and configuration management strategy\nMaintain configuration control records (e.g.: test and inspection records, serialized component records)\nPerform the closing of test evaluation worksheet, to include scanning and submission to Iron Mountain for long term archiving\nCoordinate with Bomber team members to maintain compliance with local test procedure letter\nPerform review of all Test Evaluation worksheets for accuracy in accordance with local procedures\nResearch procedures and regulations to ensure local test procedure letters are current\nPerform validations of controlled documents\nSupport the control and issue of stamps\nSupport updates, peer reviews, and configuration management activities of specifications, design descriptions, and verification plans\nCoordinates with Bomber management to maintain test procedure letters\nThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Edwards AFB, CA.\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\nThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship\n3+ years’ experience in Configuration Management/Data Management\nExperience with Microsoft Excel (e.g.: building charts and graphs; task automation using macros, and manipulation date, time, text and arrays)\nExperience with procedure development and formatting in Microsoft Word (e.g.: creating, modifying and filling tables, test and paragraph formatting, creating graphs and charts, etc.)\nDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple engineering teams\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nActive U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
