We are innovating and developing new products to address the future of the urban air mobility as well as our next generation of commercial, tactical, and trainer aircraft markets.\nAs an Experienced Fullstack Software Engineer you will join the AvionX Poland team consisting of highly skilled, high performing engineering team members supporting multiple product lines across Boeing AvionX.\nHiring details:\nThis requisition is for a locally hired position in Poland. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.\n\nThis position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at Gdańsk office. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.\n\nPosition Responsibilities:\nDesign, implement and maintain backend services using Python and modern web frameworks, and frontend applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and React\n\nOwn end to end features across the full stack: design, implementation, testing, and delivery\n\nBuild responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces that integrate with RESTful APIs\n\nWrite and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability across both frontend and backend\n\nPerform thorough, constructive code reviews and mentor other engineers on best practices\n\nCollaborate with product owners, UX designers, and QA to deliver high quality user experiences\n\nUse Git for source control and run CI/CD pipelines; follow standard branching process and merge request workflows\n\nWork in container based development environments (Docker) and coordinate with OS/DevOps teams as needed\n\nStay current with web standards, browser support, and emerging platform features; recommend pragmatic adoption strategies\n\nContribute to estimation, sprint planning, and continuous process improvement\n\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\nBachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science\n\n3+ years of professional software development experience\n\nEnglish proficiency\n\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nDemonstrated design and system thinking skills\n\nStrong proficiency in Python\n\nStrong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript\n\nExperience with React ecosystem (TanStack React Query, Redux/RTK, Context, hooks) or other modern frontend frameworks\n\nSolid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3\n\nExperience with relational or non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB)\n\nExperience in developing web services (RESTful APIs)\n\nExperience in a Python web framework e.g., FastAPI (preferred), Django or Flask\n\nSolid experience with Git and code review workflows\n\nDemonstrable experience writing unit and integration tests across frontend and backend (pytest, Jest, Testing Library, Cypress)\n\nExperience in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)\n\nExperience with CI/CD, test automation, and observability\n\nUnderstanding of security best practices for web applications (CSP, XSS mitigation, secure cookie handling)\n\nDemonstrated experience mentoring peers and leading technical design discussions\n\nExperience in software development for avionics
