Our team of engineers support over 14,000 aircraft around the globe, and work closely with our customers to ensure that their fleet is operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. Join us today and help shape the future of commercial aviation.\nThis role will be based out of Bangalore, India.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nResponsible for performing structural analysis of aircraft components, assemblies, and systems while working as an integrated team.\nStructural analysis includes calculation of loads, Static analysis, Fatigue analysis, Damage-Tolerance analysis, and Vibration analysis.\nPerform the Static, Fatigue and DT analysis using classical hand calculations methods.\nUnderstand the structure and come up with analysis approach to qualify/certify the part under minimal guidance.\nEvaluate structural integrity of aircraft components by way of classical hand calculations and, finite element method.\nGenerate documentation to report analysis and, test results to support certification/qualification.\nSupport Gated Reviews to validate the quality and completeness of work packages.\nFamiliar with regulatory framework (FAA and Mil-Spec), for warranting safety and regulatory compliance.\nEmployers will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)\nBachelor degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.\nExperience in structural analysis of various airframe structures.\nExperience with structural analysis of metallic and composite structures.\nExperience with static and fatigue analysis\nMust have experience working with cross-functional teams spread across multiple products and locations within Boeing and external partners.\nMust be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with partners from within Boeing and outside, across different cultures and time-zones.\nCommunication - strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to prepare comprehensive reports, proposals. Candidate must be fluent in English, and familiar with MS Office tools.\nCandidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment.\nCandidate must demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility to mentor and teach subordinates and partners to accomplish project and departmental goals and objectives.\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)\nKnowledge of airplane operating environments\nRobust understanding of engineering fundamentals such as material properties, Free-body diagrams, structural loads and analysis methods\nExperience in utilizing FEM software (e.g., ABAQUS, PATRAN/NASTRAN, Hyperworks)\nExperience or training with computer programming languages (e.g., Matlab, Python, Visual Basic)\nExperience in utilizing industry CAD systems (e.g., NX/Teamcenter and CATIA/ENOVIA)\nCandidate demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills\nGood verbal and written communication skills to liaise with several Stakeholders\nAbility to work across functional teams and organizations\nWillingness to expand into
