This role requires close interaction with Mission Systems, and familiarity with hardware and software development is highly valuable. This role offers visibility to leadership by working closely with program managers and the customer on the subject projects.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nProvides the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources, management, and customers.\nDevelops statement of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements.\nResponds to dynamic changes to SOW, assesses the impact and negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules.\nLeads project execution to complete the work statement with quality, safety, and on time delivery.\nDefines plans for risk mitigation and opportunity.\nCompares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned. Identifies performance metrics.\nWorks independently to provide technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project plans.\nThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Berkeley, MO.\nTravel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or internationally depending on business needs.\nThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
