The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at NAS JRB New Orleans in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. This position may be required to work at Stennis Facility in Kiln, Mississippi as required.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nTechnician maintains the following: Aircraft ordnance and associated equipment\nRemove and install ordnance related components and gear\nPerform Daily, pre and post flight and periodic aircraft inspections.\nPerform flight operation activities to include daily, turnaround, launch and recovery including plane captain activities\nAssembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.\nOversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.\nConfigures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.\nTroubleshoots complex ordnance systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.\nPerforms validation/verification testing of systems and components.\nDocuments procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).\nInspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements. Oversees training.
