Flight Readiness Technicians Inspectors verify and inspect rework, modification, maintenance, preflight and post-flight checks for delivery, including, supporting troubleshooting pre and post-flight checks and verification of maintenance and modification actions for delivery of aircraft. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to aircraft safety and quality while working in a flight line environment around live aircraft.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nPerforms verification and inspection of flight component installation and operational functional testing of aircraft systems.\n\nInspects and verifies troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and/or faults and documents faulty components.\n\nConducts inspection of pre-flight and post-flight checks and performs inspections of maintenance and modification prior to delivery.\n\nSupports documentation of identified problems during operation and testing of deliverable products.\n\nVerifies the accuracy of work performed and may conduct\n\nAssists in performing system & sub-system pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance inspections in preparation for delivery.\n\nParticipates in determining details of assignments to accomplish a wide range of objectives.\n\nPlans, schedules and arranges own activities with the assistance of lead.\n\nInspects, documents, and creates non-conformance records with minimal assistance.\n\nMust maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job.\n\nExhibits Boeing Behaviors.\n\nThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.\nThe selected candidate will be required to work onsite at our Boeing South Carolina (BSC) site.\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\n3+ years of experience in quality inspection and/or auditing.\n\n3+ years of flight line operations experience.\n\n3+ years of experience in a team environment.\n\n3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\n\nMust be able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation\n\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nFAA Airframe & Power Plant license or signed FAA Form 8610-2.\n\n787 Program Experience.\n\nForeign Object Debris (FOD) risk experience.\n\nTeam Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience.\n\nProficient in REDARS, PSDS, and BAC specifications.\n\nProficient in all forms of NCR (Non-Conformance Record) and EPD (Emergent Process Document) generation (NC/NCR/RGEN/PU/SAT/SRR/PU or RGEN Revision etc.).\n\nConflict of Interest:\nSuccessful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.\nDrug Free Workplace:\nBoeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.\nShift:\nThis position is for a variable shift.
