This position is for 1st shift; however, variable shifts including day, evening, nights and weekends may be required to support program objectives.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nCollaborate with others to develop and deploy Flight Termination Systems in support of weapons flight test programs\nEnsure compliance with all FTS requirements, including RCC-319, RCC-324, Contractual Requirements, etc\nIdentify required products, systems, components, and materials for FTS system\nDetermine test artifacts and methods for demonstrating compliance at the component and system level\nDesign and implement test fixtures to verify component performance\nPerforming analysis of qualification testing and generating documentation demonstrating system compliance\nClosely partner with Range Safety Officers, Customer Program Offices, Program Leadership, Subject Matter Experts, and other stakeholders to obtain FTS System Certification for flight\nProvide inputs to Earned Value Management for tracking progress on work packages\nAbility to travel and support flight testing on an as needed basis\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\nBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement\nExperienced with engineering in the aerospace industry\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nLevel 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nLevel 4: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nExperience designing special test equipment for flight programs and supporting proposals\nExperience with flight test, flight operations, or system test\nConflict of Interest:\nSuccessful candidate for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.\nDrug Free Workplace:\n Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.\nPay & Benefits:\nAt Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage, and retain the top talent.
