The Team interfaces with company employees across program, function, and organizational boundaries, and with computing hardware/software vendors.\nOur teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced Level Flight Test Lab Computing Support - Windows System Administrators.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nPerforms system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture\nProvides problem resolution and technical support for delivery systems\nProvides support for the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems\nAdministers user’s system access and works to protect information to meet security requirements\nMonitors system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning\nMaintain and update servers, workstations, tape drives, switches, and networks\nMaintain and update data system software/hardware development environments\nImage laptops and computers\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\nTo meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.\n1+ years of experience as a Windows System Administrator\n1+ years of experience with the following Windows applications: Active Directory, PowerShell, Windows Cluster, HyperV, and IIS Webserver\n1+ years of experience with configuring and troubleshooting computing equipment in racks\n1+ years of experience with Automated Windows System imaging (ie Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT))\n1+ years of experience in performing system administration tasks on Windows hosts including installing security patches and making configuration changes to support security requirements\n1+ years of experience integrating hardware and software components into a functional system\n1+ years of experience in computing administration to include managing Microsoft active directory design, deploy and operational support\n1+ years of experience in scripting and programming (bash shell, PERL, Python, Ansible, etc.)\n1+ years of experience with physical server hardware (HP and Dell)\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\n Level 3: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nExperience in performing system administration tasks on Windows hosts including installing security patches and making configuration changes to support security requirements\nExperience with the following Network skills: SAN, LAN, VLAN, Enclave Architecture, Switches (Cisco), Routers, and Storage\nBackup and Restore using Data Protector\nHP Tape Library management\nLinux system administration as a backup or secondary support role\nLinux Applications: Docker, DevOps Tools, LDAP, Stornext, kickstart, httpd, Docker, Ansible, SSL, Shell Scripting, Red Hat Clustering, Kubernetes, Ceph, Ansible and Python\n3+ years of experience working with Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) Integration in a Linux or Windows environment\n3+ years of experience in Operating Systems: RedHat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise\n3+ years of experience with standardized Network Protocols and Services (i.e. Transmission Control Protocol (TCP)/Internet Protocol (IP), Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN), Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Firewalls, etc.)\n4+ years of experience working within multi-disciplined teams to resolve business impacting computing issues\nDrug Free Workplace:\nBoeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.\nConflict of Interest:\nSuccessful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.\nPay & Benefits:\nAt Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
