Build and terminate wiring harnesses to a high quality and repetitious manner for Spacecraft installation. This role requires the ability to work the first shift.\nThis position's internal job code is Avionics and Harness Technician Sr. Our team is currently hiring for Grade 24.\nPosition Responsibilities: \nFabricate harnesses for spacecraft and ground systems\nBuild and terminate wiring harnesses to a high quality For Racks, Boxes\nExplain assembly procedures or techniques to co-workers\nWork and take direction from team leader for project completion\nConfer with supervisors regarding any anticipated production problems\nCross-train/mentor new hires.\nOther duties as assigned.\nThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.\nSecurity Clearance and Export Control Requirements: \nThis position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): \nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nMinimum 4 years' experience as a technician in aerospace or equivalent high-reliability field\nExperience using hand tools, repairing and troubleshooting electronic components\nAbility to read schematics, harness wiring diagrams, layout drawings, mechanical drawings, circuit layouts, and parts lists\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): \nAbility to lift up to 25 pounds\nExcellent communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills.\nExperienced with all MS Office software.\nDemonstrated ability to perform in-process verify of work.
