This role is essential for rapid application development and will require skills in application architecture, process modeling, and integration.\nAppian’s low-code environment.\nDesigning and implementing complex business process workflows\nCreating data records and connecting Appian with external systems.\nDesign user-friendly interfaces and interfaces for mobile and web.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to provide support and enhancements to Appian applications.\nTransform client requirements into functional Appian solutions through design, development, and testing.\nParticipate in Agile software delivery, ensuring high-quality user experience and application usability.\nExperience and Qualifications:\nTo be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:\nRequired Education and Years of Experience:\n6 Years of experience in Software or Systems Engineering roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.\nA Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master’s Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience\nRequired Qualifications:\nActive TS/SCI with a current CI Polygraph\n\nExposure or knowledge of developing or configuring applications using Appian or similar low-code/no-code platforms\n\nFront-end or back-end software development skills\n\nFamiliarity with Agile software delivery methodology.\n\nExcellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and multitasking abilities and ability to work across the full application development lifecycle.\n\nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience with REST APIs\n\nWorking knowledge of database engineering or backend services to support custom data integrations and migrations\n\nExperience working in AWS cloud environments\n\nFamiliarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Git\n\nTelework/Remote Availability: Limited Telework/Remote Work Authorized\nWork Location(s): Reston, VA; Washington, DC; or Annapolis Junction, MD\nSummary Pay Range:\nPlease note that the information shown below is a general guideline only.
