Efforts will include coordinating with other analysts and resident Subject Matter Experts to determine root cause of performance observations, supporting the development of analysis reports/briefings to be briefed to customers/leadership, and developing Python and Bash tools that support simulation data processing and analysis.\nExperience and Qualifications:\nTo be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:\nRequired Education and Years of Experience:\nEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Masters). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.\nRequired Qualifications:\nActive Secret Clearance\nExperience in systems engineering, systems analysis, or performance analysis.\nExperience applying statistical analysis, probability distributions, sampling methods, or Monte Carlo simulation techniques\nExperience reviewing system performance metrics and identifying potential root causes of performance issues\nExperience working in an aerospace, defense, or related engineering environment\nDemonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences\nDemonstrated organizational, collaboration, and leadership skills through professional, academic, or civic activities\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment\nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience supporting the Ground-based Midcourse Defense program or other missile defense programs\nExperience evaluating system performance under multiple operational scenarios, architectures, or threat conditions\nExperience analyzing system quality factors, such as affordability, safety, reliability, survivability, vulnerability, susceptability, and systems integration\nExperience performing risk assessments and developing mitigation plans related to system requirements, technical performance, and customer capabilities\nExperience supporting software development, software integration, and test integration\nExperience developing, maintaining, or using modeling and simulation tools of varying fidelity to assess system performance\nExperience analyzing existing system architectures and evaluating new technologies and concepts for future system improvements\nExperience developing, refining, and documenting algorithms or algorithm capabilities for Department of Defense customers\nExperience coding or scripting in one or more of the following: MATLAB, Python, or C++\nExperience supporting interdisciplinary teams in the planning, design, development, integration, and verification of system solutions\nFamiliarity with configuration, data, and workflow management for program-specific MBSE tools and processes\nTelework/Remote Availability: Telework/Remote work currently not authorized; 100% on-site.\nWork Location(s): Huntsville, AL\nSummary Pay Range:\nPlease note that the information shown below is a general guideline only.
