Payloads E-UMs are delegated by the FAA to find compliance in one or more of the following areas: Interior Arrangements, Physical Security, Oxygen Systems, Water & Waste Systems, Evacuation Systems, Cargo Systems, Galley Mechanical Equipment, Fire Containment, Fire Protection, and Flammability.\n\nManage team assignments to support Boeing commitments.\n\nCoordinate with design, certification, and production teams to remove roadblocks.\n\nProvide coaching and development opportunities that enable team performance and quality.\n\nFacilitate resolution of technical or interpersonal issues.\n\nMitigate risk of interference as described by 14 CFR § 183.57 (c) and Title 49 USC § 44742.\n\nRecruit and manage the development of new E-UMs to maintain a healthy population.\n\nSupport maintenance of E-UM credentials through performance reviews, training schedules, & adherence to approved policies/processes.\n\nPromote an open, respectful, and collaborative culture across the value stream.\n\nLead and contribute to initiatives that improve the certification system.\n\nSupport an excellent working-together relationship with our regulators.\n\nSupport the E-UM Administrator in resolving issues and communicating regulatory policy.\n\nBoeing First-Line Leader Assessment:\nTo be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process.
