The selected candidate will be a part of aviation history by helping our Navy customer productization Autonomous Carrier landing, takeoff and refueling capabilities.\nThe MQ-25 program is currently building the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) vehicles for the Navy. Additional work is under way for the beginning of the Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) program for additional vehicles.\nThe MQ-25 Electrical & Equipment team is responsible for the power architecture & design, electrical equipment technical management, electrical installation design, wire harness design, and integrating avionics and other equipment into the vehicle.\nThis role will be focused on the power architecture & design.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nLeads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.\nLeads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.\nLeads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.\nResearches technology advances for potential application to company business needs.\nMakes recommendations for technology investments.\nThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.\nThis position requires the ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.\nA final Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\nBachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry \nLevel 5 (Lead): 14+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor’s degree or 12+ years of work-related experience with a masters or 9+ years of work-related experience with a PhD\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nActive U.S. Secret Security Clearance\nABET accredited degree\nPrevious experience in the defense or aerospace industry\n14+ years experience in Electrical Power Architecture Design and Analysis\n14+ years of systems engineering experience involving: system requirements, functional decomposition and allocation, integrated design, analysis and evaluation, verification\nGood organizational, interpersonal, and problem solving skills\nStrong work ethic and sense of urgency for completing assigned work with a history of meeting commitments\nAbility to adjust priorities to multiple demands and unanticipated events\nAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing\nHighly motivated and works well in a team environment\nConflict of Interest:\nSuccessful candidates for this job must satisfy Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.\nTypical Education/Experience:\nEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
