Fort Greely, AK (~100 miles southeast of Fairbanks).\nThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nDirect and execute system-level integration, functional and acceptance testing, and post-modification checkouts; collect, analyze, and report test data and anomalies.\nLead and perform complex field modifications, system upgrades, retrofits, and installations on GMD launch, C2, sensor, and support equipment per engineering drawings, technical orders, and approved work packages.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex electrical, electronic, and electromechanical failures; provide root-cause input and recommend corrective actions.\nMaintain configuration control and as-built documentation; review and approve field change packages and wiring/assembly updates.\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior technicians; assign tasks, review work, and enforce quality and safety standards.\nAct as a primary technical point of contact with government and contractor stakeholders; present technical briefings and status updates.\nManage special tooling and test-equipment inventories; ensure calibration and readiness of measurement/test instruments.\nImprove procedures, work instructions, and lessons-learned to increase reliability, maintainability, and safety.\nEnforce site safety, environmental, and security procedures; handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and classified materials per policy.\nDeploy to off-site tests, integration events, and remote support tasks as required.\nBasic Qualifications:\nMinimum 5 years' of experienced with mechanical/electrical/electronic assembly including multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other diagnostic equipment, modification, and test work\nMinimum 3 years' of experience leading field modification and integration teams on complex systems.\nMinimum 3 years' of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical orders.\nComfortable working outdoors in extreme cold, able to lift/carry up to 35 lbs., climb ladders, and work at heights.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrior GMD, missile defense, launch systems, radar/sensor, or DoD field engineering experience.\n5+ years in defense/aerospace or missile defense preferred.\nFamiliarity with configuration management systems and maintenance tracking databases.\nCertifications: IPC soldering, OSHA safety, crane/hoist operator, forklift, NVLAP/test-equipment calibration, or equivalent.\nMilitary technical training or prior service in electronics/avionics/ground-systems MOS/AFC/NEC.\nPhysical & Work Environment\nRoutine work at Fort Greely in remote, cold-weather conditions (snow, ice, sub-zero temperatures, limited winter daylight).\nMay require shift work, on-call availability, and travel to off-site ranges or contractor facilities.\nMust follow strict PPE, safety, and security protocols.\nConflict of Interest: \nSuccessful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.\nDrug Free Workplace:\nBoeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.\nPay & Benefits:\nAt Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
