The Boeing SPD AAS team provides mission systems software for the P-8A, enabling mission and tactic planning, sensor interfacing, sensor data display, and mission replay capabilities. The team also supports training system simulations that enhance fleet operator readiness on the AAS mission.\nIn this role, you will lead and independently execute DevSecOps and software engineering activities across the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, integration, automated testing, security validation, deployment, and sustainment. You will help architect and implement secure, repeatable, and scalable software delivery pipelines that improve product quality, accelerate delivery, and strengthen cyber resilience across mission systems and training environments.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nLeads and independently executes DevSecOps activities for mission systems and training software across build, test, deployment, and sustainment workflows\nPartners with software, systems, cybersecurity, test, and IT teams to design, develop, secure, troubleshoot, and validate software solutions\nDesigns, implements, and maintains CI/CD pipelines that support continuous integration, automated testing, security scanning, and controlled deployment\nIntegrates security automation throughout the software lifecycle, including:static code analysis\nsoftware composition analysis\ncontainer/image scanning\nvulnerability triage and remediation\n\nDevelops, documents, and maintains software architectures, requirements, interfaces, algorithms, and designs\nBuilds and maintains automation for software builds, packaging, environment provisioning, test execution, and software release processes\nSupports Infrastructure as Code and environment automation to improve repeatability and reduce manual configuration\nDrives secure coding practices, pipeline quality gates, and release readiness criteria\nCollaborates with cybersecurity and compliance stakeholders to ensure software delivery workflows align with security requirements and development standards\nTroubleshoot integration, deployment, performance, and runtime issues across development, test, and operational environments\nSupport automated and manual testing activities, document test results, and verify functional and cybersecurity requirements are met\nImprove observability, logging, monitoring, and alerting capabilities to enhance operational awareness and system reliability\nMentor team members on DevSecOps practices, secure development, automation, and delivery best practices\nContribute to Agile development processes including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives, and use Jira to track and manage work throughout the software lifecycle\nDrive modernization efforts to transition legacy build and release processes into automated, secure, and maintainable workflows\nThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.
