The team provides design engineering services to maintain the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Weapon System to include new design, integration, and sustainment of existing designs. The subsystems include propulsion, guidance, ground systems, and other major subsystems of the ICBM Weapon System. The selected candidate will work with a highly skilled and knowledgeable team in a great team environment. The candidate will be mentored in areas of responsibility.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nNew design, integration, test, and sustainment of mechanical systems.\n\nSystems requirements analysis and development including the ability to develop and document mechanical, electronic/electrical, and other system requirements\n\nTest planning, assessment, and reporting (testing includes Aging Surveillance, flight test, failure investigations, etc.)\n\nDevelop and review engineering drawings and models to support product design using CATIA, NX and Autodesk software.\n\nSupport design configuration control using Product Life Management systems (i.e. SmarTeam, 3DX, and Teamcenter.\n\nDevelop cable designs and routing for integration into complex assemblies.\n\nFailure analysis of hardware and associated test equipment.\n\nAbility to generate briefings and present briefings to internal and external customers\n\nTechnical writing skills to include generating plans, procedures, memorandums, reports, technical orders, drawings, etc.\n\nThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.\nThis position requires a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
